Talk:Damek

From BIONICLEsector01

In MNOLG, there is a matoran guard with Damek's exact mask and colour scheme standing outside the Ussalry. He fits Damek's occupation and matches the other two forms. This is obviously Damek, but if beurocratically, that isn't enough, then what is the due process by which we can confirm that this is Damek? Takhamavahuexternal image 07:44, 20 August 2014 (CEST)

We already have Talvi and Pakastaa listed; how'd they get confirmed, BTW? And if we're going to confirm them, we might as well with Damek, too. While we're at it, we might put Ally and Piatra in the Bohrok Online Animations, if possible.--Willess12 (talk) 16:34, 20 August 2014 (CEST) Edit: I don't mean to cause an argument here or anything. Just saying I agree, and I'm curious. Then I made a suggestion, if the other one is taken.

As I've noted recently, I've been out of touch for quite a while and only recently started editing again, so I only responded to what I saw recently... Talvi and Pakastaa, in my completely honest opinion, shouldn't be there.

What has always been, and as far as I am aware still is, the policy on these Matoran is that if they were not named, then they don't count. Certainly the designers of MNOLGII took influences from previous characters. But it doesn't explicitly mean that they are the same... There are a lot of Matoran, after all.

Greg's stance on this issue has always been that he had nothing to do with the games, so cannot comment on it. In other words, to him, they weren't the same. If that position has changed (since he seems to be accepting whatever people throw at him nowadays...) and you provide proof of that (even though I'm against such coercion personally, it's never stopped most before - or maybe he already did change his mind), then yes, it is totally acceptable. --~|RC|~ (Talk/Contribs)

Boxor

Throughout the Bohrok animations, we see two Onu-Matoran beside Nuparu operate Boxors. One of these seem to very obviously be Damek (see Media:MNOA Boxor at Le-Wahi Camp.png. Should this be mentioned in his biography?

We do mention Kalama for his appearance in the animations, for instance. The second driver might be able to be said to Midak, but I feel like that is far less certain and as such should not be mentioned on his page but rather the Onu-Matoran page; for one, grey feet, where as I think Midak's were intended to be black. ~ Wolk (talk) 23:04, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

It's a similar situation with Nobua and a number of other Matoran. I've left a note on the bottom of the page Nobua appears on mentioning these possible appearances, but unfortunately I think that's the most we can do in lieu of further confirmation. But I cannot imagine a scenario where Templar turns and makes the animations intending to feature unknown Matoran with the same designs as the characters we'd already gotten to know in the prior game. --Gonel (talk) 02:13, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
Actually, it seems BS01's policy is to assume the animation Matoran are the same, which makes the most sense. Given that, I see no reason not to move forward with it. --Gonel (talk) 02:18, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
