Talk:2005 Web Comics
This wasn't written as part of the DC comic series, and it isn't incomplete. It's the script for the first issue of the exclusive web comic they were going to do in 2005 to resolve the fate of Turaga Dume. See here : [[1]]
So in light of that, I think the page might be in need of a renaming. Tazakk (talk) 17:53, 16 October 2015 (CEST)
- What sort of name are you thinking? Something like "Unreleased Dume Comic" is pretty spot-on but it's a bit of a mouthful too. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 09:22, 17 October 2015 (CEST)
- It's still incomplete, since the adventure never concluded, and the web series itself never took off. I agree 22.5 no longer really fits, but I would call it whatever it would have been called in the first place ("2005 Web Comics"?) and then elaborate that it was unreleased. -- Dorek Talk 09:47, 17 October 2015 (CEST)
Re: the edit comment, I was able to find the script hosted on collectinghq so it's safe to assume that it came from Mask of Destiny. Only way to find out the specifics would be to go through their news archives by hand, they don't have a functioning search engine anymore. Tazakk (talk) 01:19, 18 October 2015 (CEST)
- Yep, here it is. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 02:12, 18 October 2015 (CEST)
Question regarding the name "Comic 22.5"
Hi, guys. I have regarding the placement of the comic series in 2005. I mean, does it really take place between Comic 22 and Comic 23? It looks like it takes place between Comic 23 and Comic 24. Here are the reasons:
- Vakama, Onewa, and Norik witnessed a group of Roporak threatening a herd of Kikanalo. They fought the Roporak.
- In the script for "Comic 22.5", the three heroes seemed to continue their fight against the Roporak before Vakama decided to go find Turaga Dume.
So, I need some clarification on this, please. Lenny7092 (talk)
- Timeline-wise, you are right, that is generally the order for that exact reason. The name is erroneous; not sure if it has a fan-origin or some official origin, but if a fan came up with it (as seems likely given that web comics wouldn't necessarily abide by print comic numbering--we do also have Ignition 12.5) then we can certainly change it. --Gonel (talk) 03:12, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
