The set consists of 61 pieces.
By combining pieces from Voltix with pieces from 6282 Stringer, one can build a non-canon combination model.
Features
The set features a Shooting Volt Blaster, a variation of the Meteor Blaster. It also has the Lightning Whip, which can be rotated. The set has the Voltage Booster Switch on the back, which can be flipped up and down. On the foil pack's front art's background shows Jimi Stringer, a Hero from the Stringer set and who is chasing after Voltix in Tansari VI.
Collectibles
The set includes a gray helmet, which uses a small red axle piece to attach it to Voltix's head. It also has a Hero Core. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in HeroFactory.com in 2012, to earn 300 Hero Points. The Hero Core is not used in Core Hunter's construction, but can possibly be placed on any of his armor pieces for storage.
Trivia
- Voltix is taller than the 2012 medium-sized Hero sets, and is as tall as Core Hunter from 6222 Core Hunter and Speeda Demon from 6231 Speeda Demon.
- Voltix's helmet piece is the same as Speeda Demon and Black Phantom's from set 6231 and 6203 Black Phantom, respectively.
- Voltix has a similar leg design as Core Hunter and Dunkan Bulk from 6223 Bulk.
- In Episode 8: Breakout Part 1 and Episode 9: Breakout Part 2, Voltix has longer forearms with hands, and his wires are connected to the forearms rather than his hands.
