Set Information
The set consists of 42 pieces.
By combining pieces from Stringer with pieces from 6283 Voltix, one can build a non-canon combination model.
Features
The set features a modified Plasma Gun called the Sonic Blaster, two Sonic Speakers, and Hero Cuffs. On the foil pack's front art's background shows Voltix, Stringer's targeted villain from the Voltix set, in Tansari VI.
Collectibles
The set includes a black helmet and a Hero Core. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in HeroFactory.com in 2012, to earn 200 Hero Points.
Trivia
- Stringer's helmet is the same as the one in 7170 Jimi Stringer.
- Unlike the other 2012 Hero sets, who retained their heads' colors from their 2010 set counterparts, the 2012 Stringer set's head is transparent blue rather than transparent orange for an unknown reason.
- The 2012 Stringer set is the only 2012 non-XL Hero set to have a transparent 2012 Hero chest armor piece.
- This is the final Stringer set, as Stringer does not have his own Brain Attack or Invasion From Below sets for unknown reasons.
