Set Information
The set consists of 51 pieces.
By combining pieces from Core Hunter with pieces from 6223 Bulk, one can build a non-canon combination model.
Features
The set features a Plasma Shooter, which is of the same construction as the Plasma Gun, but with a red spike and a bandolier. Core Hunter's red spikes on his upper arm and back armor can move forwards and backwards. On the foil pack's front art's background shows Dunkan Bulk, a Hero from the Bulk set and who is chasing after Core Hunter in the Makuhero City.
Collectibles
The set includes a black helmet and a Hero Core. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in HeroFactory.com in 2012, to earn 300 Hero Points. The Hero Core is not used in Core Hunter's construction, but can possibly be placed on any of his armor pieces for storage.
Trivia
- Core Hunter is taller than the 2012 medium-sized Hero sets, and is as tall as Voltix from 6283 Voltix and Speeda Demon from 6231 Speeda Demon.
- Despite the back of the foil pack showing the set's Hero Core Remover Tool moving its pincers, the Hero Core Remover Tool cannot really do that, but the pincers can fit onto a Hero Core.
- Core Hunter is one of the two only 2012 sets to have a bandolier, the other being 6202 Rocka.
- It is possible to attach Hero Cores to Core Hunter's bandolier.
- Like 6216 Jawblade, Core Hunter's wrists are thick, so it is hard to put Hero Cuffs on them.
- Core Hunter has a similar leg design as Bulk and Voltix.
- Since Core Hunter did not appear in Episode 8: Breakout Part 1 and Episode 9: Breakout Part 2 for an unknown reason, he does not have his own Breakout Animation.
