Book collection

I know it's not a set technically, but I've got a collection of all 4 chronicles books that came together with an infected hau nuva (which of course wasn't in there). Should this be listed because of it? --Srlojohn (talk) 14:44, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

This would probably be better placed in the talk page for Books (and feel free to move this there), but I remember having the same collection. Think I foolishly got rid of it, but it was this one, right? There was also a collection for the first three Adventure books, but that seems to be about it. Been meaning to get a page for it myself, but I keep forgetting. --777stairs (talk) 17:37, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
yep, that was it. I guess we could make a new page, but let's ask the staff first. --"I wanted show that humans are not gods, nor are we monsters, i wanted people to think about what it means to be human" -Lex ~Prof. Srlojohn 22:35, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
Well, if you look at the sets page, there are books and such that have an official number. I actually got that collection myself, but I don't actually know if it had a shop designation. Was it ever advertised on S@H? -- Dorek Talk external image 03:46, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
*Shrugs* i dunno. I got mine second hand. --"I wanted show that humans are not gods, nor are we monsters, i wanted people to think about what it means to be human" -Lex ~Prof. Srlojohn 16:57, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
Could you clarify Dorek? Wasn't quite sure what you mean, but I can look into it later. --777stairs (talk) 17:03, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

If you look at old LEGO catalogs or Shop@Home archives, sometimes the books were sold under official set numbers: for instance Island of Doom was designated "B608". Couldn't tell you what 608 means or if B is for BIONICLE or Book (I imagine the latter?) but my plan is eventually to include that on the Sets list. I'm wondering if the Chronicles collection had a similar number. Either way I think it doesn't belong on this specific page, but I was also nominally planning on reformatting some of the book/media pages to incorporate this information. -- Dorek Talk external image 19:15, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

I'm looking at the box right now and it has no set number. --"I wanted show that humans are not gods, nor are we monsters, i wanted people to think about what it means to be human" -Lex ~Prof. Srlojohn 00:51, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, the physical items themselves don't (I don't think BL1 has the number "B608" anywhere on it), it's more just if we have an old S@H designation either from a catalog or the website archives. It's fine if they don't! It's not a huge deal either way. -- Dorek Talk external image 18:34, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

I'll try to do some digging and see if I can find those numbers when I get the chance.
With regards to the book itself, do you think it's worth putting in the Articles for Creation (since we already have one for the similar Adventures book collection)? If so, I'll nominate it there, if not I'll draw up a Sandbox page for it (assuming no one else does). --777stairs (talk) 20:19, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
Eh, I don't think it particularly needs its own page. The information is in plenty of places. -- Dorek Talk external image 03:28, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
Sorry, been meaning to respond to this, but been in a place with bad wifi for a while. Anyway, if it's all the same, I'd like to throw it on the Articles for Creation page. Think it would be worth putting somewhere on here, even if we double it up with the other collection and rename the page to account for both. If it's alright, I'll put it up for discussion on that page. --777stairs (talk) 18:16, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
