Was Garan actually confirmed to be the leader of the Voya Nui Matoran in addition to being the leader of the Resistance Team? -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 20:23, 22 March 2014 (CET)

In Garan's set description it says "Leader of the Matoran resistance! Brave and smart, Garan leads the Matoran of Voya Nui in their fight against the invading Piraka!" While I don't know if set descriptions are cannon, it is said there. (just realized as I type this that the question was from 2014) SilverKakama (talk) 04:23, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

Yes, they are canon, but the set description refers to the "Matoran Resistance," which is the Resistance Team's in-story name and I'm almost 100% sure that the "Voya Nui Resistance Team" is a fanon term, not the remaining matoran on Voya Nui, after the Piraka were defeated.--SurelNuva (Talk) 05:27, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
