busted?
just fyi, not really sure why, but when i to go biosector01.com, the splash page doesn't load any of the images/articles like it used to for a background - just a regular blue/green color and all the other usual elements. this happens on the same computer i've been using for a very long time, with multiple browsers, so i figure it's not something on my end. - Just wanted to say I've figured out the problem. The background code relies on a Yahoo service that parses the text of BIONICLEsector01:Splash into something usable. However Yahoo ended that service on June 8 (without any warning that I've seen). I'll have to come up with a workaround. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 23:39, 18 June 2017 (CET)
- It should be fixed now. The parsing is now handled locally rather than through Yahoo's service--hardly ideal, but it's a temporary fix until (hopefully) someday I redo the page to handle all this processing on the server rather than locally with JS. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 00:42, 19 June 2017 (CET)
- yes, my username still shows up when i'm logged in with the golden hau. sad to report though, that the splash page still isn't working - looks just the same as it did before the change. there's also only one box that shows up below the search box - the twitter feed. the others that used to show up to the left and right of that aren't there. as an aside, do you code? The changes probably didn't show up immediately because your browser was showing you a cached copy of the page. A couple of back-to-back reloads usually force it to purge the cache and load an up-to-date version. Re: programming, yep. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 05:37, 19 June 2017 (CET)

Renaming
I just thought it would be fine if on the splash Vezon would be "the rogue Piraka," the Ancient Sea Behemoth could be "ancient creature of the sea," the Vahki could be "the law enforcers of Metru Nui," the Bahrag could be the "Queens of the Bohrok Swarms," Thok could be "the Drifter," (after his promotional nickname) Tahu could be the "Uniter of Fire," Onua could be "the Uniter of Earth."
