personal theory on multi-species combiners
When or more beings of different species combine, there are two possible outcomes.
One is a true combination. This creates an extremely powerful being that has its own independent personality. These combiners are usually stronger and more powerful than a combine made of an equal number of the same species. This kind of combiner is extremely rare and requires great unity of purpose and heart. The normal elemental combiner rules apply.
The second kind is an upgrade combiner. This kind of combiner usually results in the other members of the union to form equipment and armor for one of the other members. The most notable is example is Click, and Mata Nui. When he brought Click to his face, it caused them to combine, and click formed a shield for Mata Nui.
