The set consists of 39 pieces.

By combining pieces from Surge with pieces from 6218 Splitface, one can build a non-canon combination model. Pieces from Surge can also be combined with pieces from 6200 Evo and 6293 Furno in order to create an unnamed rookie of the Alpha 1 Team.

Features

The set features a Plasma Gun and Hero Cuffs. On the foil pack's front art's background shows Splitface, Surge's targeted villain from the Splitface set, in the the Sigma Sigma system.

Collectibles

The set includes a blue helmet and a Hero Core. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in HeroFactory.com in 2012, to earn 200 Hero Points.

Trivia

• This is the third Surge set, the first two being 7169 Mark Surge and 2141 Surge 2.0. Surge never had a 3.0 set for an unknown reason.
• Surge's helmet is the same as the one in set 7169.
• In the Television Episodes, Surge has closer shoulders.
