Set Information

The set's foil pack

The set consists of 88 pieces. It, along with the other early 2014 sets, were released in January 2014 in Europe, Australia/New Zealand and Asia, but their release date was held back until March in North America for an unknown reason.

The set contains three mini-figures, Hero Preston Stormer, a red and black Jumper, and an orange and black Jumper. Stormer has a gun and a communication device.

By combining pieces from the Stormer Freeze Machine with pieces from 44019 Rocka Stealth Machine, one can build a non-canon combination model. The Freeze Machine's right arm, along with arms from three other Battle Machine sets in early 2014, can be added onto 44022 Evo XL Machine to create a powered-up Evo XL Machine.

Features

The Stormer Freeze Machine features a detachable orange cockpit with an opening transparent blue visor. There is also a opening mechanism below the visor that can keep it closed. The Freeze Machine's right arm has a Rotating Ice Blaster, which can rotate by turning a black knob on the back of the weapon. The right upper arm has a printed armor piece. The machine's left arm has a hand with four fingers that can move forwards and backwards. On the left upper arm is a flick-fire missile launcher, which can launch two missiles. On the back of the Freeze Machine is a detachable, opening transparent blue canister.

Trivia

• Since the Stormer Freeze Machine does not have a black clipping piece that can contain Stormer's gun for storage, it is possible to place the gun on any of the machine's armor pieces for storage.
• The machine's foot pieces are the same as 6230 Stormer XL's, but gunmetal gray rather than silver.
