This template is for citing miscellaneous webpages.
To make editing the wiki easier, some websites that are commonly cited on BS01 have their own dedicated citation templates. When you can, please use those templates instead of Template:WebsiteCitation! Here is a current list of those other templates:
- Template:BionicleStoryWebsiteCitation: Cite pages on BIONICLEstory.com.
- Template:BionicleWebsiteCitation: Cite pages on BIONICLE.com.
- Template:BZPowerCitation: Cite information from BZPower forum topics (and posts), blog entries (and comments), and news articles.

- Template:TTVCitation: Cite miscellaneous forum posts on the TTV Message Boards.
Parameters

The original, non-archived URL to cite. At least one of the three parameters originalurl, archiveurl, and brokenurl must be specified.

The archived URL to cite. At least one of the three parameters originalurl, archiveurl, and brokenurl must be specified.
Default: nothing |
brokenurl (optional if at least one of originalurl or archiveurl is specified)

The URL to cite, which points to a broken page. At least one of the three parameters originalurl, archiveurl, and brokenurl must be specified. The value of brokenurl only appears in the final citation as a last resort when neither originalurl nor archiveurl is specified.
Default: nothing |
