Moons vs. Planets

Regarding this edit, I found some quotes that suggest the story team intended Aqua and Bota Magna as moons:

July 2009: "Actually, I don't believe I said it was a moon -- what I said was that I have not discussed the cosmology with the story team yet. If the story team wants it to be a moon, it's a moon, but they haven't talked to me about it yet."

September 2009: "But yes, Aqua and Bota are moons of Bara, that has been confirmed as of this morning."

Given this context, I think we can we can fairly consider the CwGF planet quote a forgetcon and call Aqua and Bota Magna moons.

Now, I also seem to remember that later on, Greg confirmed Aqua and Bota Magna as planets, which caused a stir on BZP since previous quotes and media showed them as moons. Eventually they got re-confirmed as moons (or at least were no longer explicitly called planets). I thought that happened after G1 ended, but it could very well be that I'm misremembering the details and am really just remembering people discussing the above quotes back in 2009. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 19:32, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
