Signature

Hi, I just want to ask you, that next time please, don't forget to put the four tildes (~~~~) after you leave a comment on any talk page, it'll automatically generate your signature, so we'll know who's asking on them without searching in the page history. It would make things a bit easier for someone, who just casually checks the pages, without using the Recent Changes page. :) --Surel (Talk) 19:30, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

Chapter numbers

To answer your question, it's always preferable to have chapter numbers, chapter names, and page numbers in citations where possible/applicable. ~ Wolk (talk) 18:55, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

Genrally, when the whole context of the paragraph is based on the overall context of a book, we don't neccessary use page/chapter numbers, but it's more preferable, because chapter and page numbers helps the readers find the specific information/confirmation they are looking for. When there's a certain information about the character, like Mavrah mentioning Nuparu, we would use chapter and page numbers, because the book isn't about their kinship, but about the Toa Metru's journey to Mata Nui. Similarly the mention of Nektann's spiked-armored Muaka. Not the whole serial is about Nektann having them, but that specific chapter in the serial confirmes/tells us that he did have them. I hope this helps.--SurelNuva (Talk) 19:18, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
