Set Information

The set's box

The set consists of 45 pieces.

There is a non-canon combination model made of parts from this set and 7156 Corroder. It was named "Crunchy" by webmaster Kelly McKiernan, who designed and only used the model as an example of a Hero Factory creation in HeroFactory.com's Gallery page, in the Prototype Photography Tips section.[Prototype Photography Tips] Instructions for it were never released.

Features

The set features a Meteor Blaster. It also has three red and yellow armor pieces, which represent armor pieces that contain the Explosive Spikes. Each of two of the pieces is attached to one of XPlode's arms, and the other to his back. The back piece can also be raised from the back to the top to act like XPlode is launching his back spikes, like in the Television Episodes.

The back of the box shows XPlode's stats.

Collectibles

The set includes a red helmet.

Trivia

  • In LEGOshop.com, the set's name was typed as "Xplode".
  • XPlode's helmet has upper teeth in the set piece, the comics, and the television episodes, but it lacks them on the box art and in the building instructions manual.
  • In the Television Episodes, the elbow parts of XPlode's forearms are redesgined to be bent naturally.
