AU

Currently AU defaults as an abbreviation for "in an alternate universe," but it also means "Australia" on set pages. Should we switch to AUS for Australia? -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk)

Why not? But we should edit the set pages... -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 10:10, 11 December 2016 (CET)
What does the (GE) mean? Grand Exchange or what? Could be a shame that I don't know exactly, but I don't want to give a wrong meaning for that. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 10:24, 11 December 2016 (CET)
I think it's supposed to mean Germany. Some better alternatives would be GER or DE (Deutschland). -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 20:10, 11 December 2016 (CET)
Okay, I will add as "GER". -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 20:14, 11 December 2016 (CET)

Cut Content

Thoughts on having something for cut content? There are a number of appearances that this could be applied to: Lohrak in LoMN, Hoto in VNOG, Tarakava in MoL, and I'm sure we could think of others. I would consider the abbreviation "CC" for Cut content, or alternatively just using the word "Cut" (Cut) in which case no edit would be necessairy for the template. ~ Wolk (talk) 00:52, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

Sounds good. Definitely something we could use. --Gonel (talk) 01:03, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
This would be great imo.--Surel (Talk) 04:47, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
Using an abbreviation would be nice since the tooltip would let us go into more detail. Readers might interpret "cut" to mean that the entire piece of media wasn't published, or that the character appeared in a rough draft of the media but was removed from the final draft. We could split those into NR ("not released") and CC ("content cut from final draft"). Thoughts? -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 05:32, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. NR would allow us to clarify TLoMN appearances as well. ~ Wolk (talk) 16:47, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
True, and maybe also Invasion, Power of the Great Beings, the 2005 web comics, etc. --Gonel (talk) 19:11, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
I think the 2005 web comics may not fully be an NR thing, as they the first half was published on the website, just wasn't depicted in comics form properly... just the second half where they actually found out that Dume has awakened was only confirmed in the encyclopedias... It's a borderline thing. :/ CC would be the Rahkshi breaking out of the ice in the movie novel, but not in the movie itself? same as the Lohrak?--Surel (Talk) 19:38, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
Well, since the Rahkshi actually appear in the movie, I think that would take precedence when listing their appearances. Same with like, Kofo-Jaga or Kotu in MNOG, they were supposed to have a bigger presence, but they are still mentioned. ~ Wolk (talk) 19:58, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
