Talk:Region of Water

From BIONICLEsector01

I know for a fact there is a source from Ryder Windham's work that states the regions are named after the elemental creatures. I have two questions on that: 1. Where is this source, specifically? I skimmed the Battle of the Mask Makers graphic novel and attached Okoto Protector's Guide, but I couldn't find anything (granted, I did skim it, so it could be in a throwaway line of dialogue). 2. Is the fact that this source is so obscure the reason why the Region of Water is called what it is, rather than the article being titled Akida? Or is it the fact that MOST canon sources refer to it as the Region of Water? I will mention that the Elemental Creatures themselves are referred to as "Creature of X" roughly 60% of the time, though I also understand that's a more acceptable ratio. ~ LeiTheRobot (talk) 15:20, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

As cited on the Okoto page: Page 18 of Battle of the Mask Makers -- yes, it is a throwaway line of dialogue from Ekimu. As for the page name, we knew them as "Region of Element" first when the pages were made and no one has proposed changing them. ~ Wolk (talk) 00:39, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
Gotcha, I'll add that reference to the individual Region pages since it feels needed. I will say that if we do end up changing the page names, it could create some confusion between the creature and the region. We could add a banner that says "This article refers to the Region of Water. For the Elemental Creature of Water, visit Akida (creature)", or it could be as simple as appending "also known as Akida" to the first sentence of the page. ~ LeiTheRobot (talk) 15:25, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
