Jaatikko is a Ko-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

Prior to the Great Cataclysm, Jaatikko lived and worked in Ko-Metru. He was captured by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then placed into a Matoran Sphere and went into stasis, but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and reawakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.

Mata Nui

As a result of his confinement in a Matoran Sphere, Jaatikko was physically shrunken and lost his memories of Metru Nui. Upon arrival on Mata Nui, he took part in the construction of Ko-Koro, directed by Turaga Nuju, making use of parts from Airships used by the Toa to bring the Matoran to Mata Nui.[3] In Ko-Koro, Jaatikko was an Architect. He was well-versed in the Virtue of Destiny.

After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Jaatikko was rebuilt into a more physically powerful form. He provided the Ga-Matoran Hahli with the Charm of Destiny when she visited Ko-Koro during the Kolhii Tournament.

Jaatikko was evacuated from Ko-Koro with the other Ko-Matoran following the Rahkshi's attack on the village.

Return to Metru Nui

Jaatikko later helped in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui, where he resided for a time and took part in the reconstruction work that commenced immediately after the Matoran's return. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.

As a result of the Battle of Bara Magna, Teridax was killed and the Great Spirit Robot was heavily damaged. Thusly, the surviving Matoran, including Jaatikko, migrated to the newly reformed planet of Spherus Magna.[4]

Quotes

"You shall unite Duty and Destiny. You are the bringer. You are the snowflake on the Mountain. Here is Destiny's Charm, symbolising all that will be, as comes from all that was."
