The following is a list of media that was released or distributed by The Walt Disney Company through the companies’ subsidiaries:

Bionicle: Mask of Light The Movie

Notes: Co-distribution with Miramax Home Entertainment and Walt Disney Home Entertainment through Buena Vista Home Entertainment under exclusive license from The Lego Group for several releases in Europe, as well as Africa and Asia; including the Russian Disney DVD Special Edition, South African Walt Disney Home Entertainment DVD, Hungarian Walt Disney Home Entertainment VHS, some of the regular Polish Disney DVD releases, and the Korean Disney DVD release.

The representation used to display the Disney branding included the Disney DVD, Walt Disney Home Entertainment, and Miramax Home Entertainment logos.

Miramax Home Entertainment released the film internationally and was a Disney-owned corporate entity at the time, but has no longer been so since 2010.

  • The Polish dubbing is officially recognized as a Disney dub by The Walt Disney Company as the credits in the film for the Polish Disney DVD releases lists Disney Character Voices International, Inc., the official division of Disney that handles character audio dialogue in films, as the service provider for handling the Polish cast and recording operations.

Trivia:

  • This was the last ever CGI film to be released by Disney before Roy E. Disney, nephew of founder Walter (Walt) Elias Disney and son of co-founder Roy O. Disney, resigned from the company on November 30th, 2003.
    • He was also the last active member of the family to be involved with the company.

Notes: Co-distribution with Miramax Home Entertainment and Walt Disney Home Entertainment through Buena Vista Home Entertainment under exclusive license from The Lego Group and Imperial Entertainment for several releases in the Czech Republic (Czechia); including the Walt Disney Home Entertainment DVD and Walt Disney Home Entertainment VHS release.

The representation used to display the Disney branding included the Walt Disney Home Entertainment and Miramax Home Entertainment logos, as well as a sticker featured on the packaging depicting the Mickey Mouse logo on a cassette tape.

Miramax Home Entertainment released the film internationally and was a Disney-owned corporate entity at the time, but has no longer been so since 2010.

Toa Tahu Mata

Notes: Manufactured by The Lego Group, and distributed by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products and Disney Resort under exclusive license from The Lego Group in the LEGO Imagination Center at Downtown Disney (currently known as Disney Springs) from Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort.

Originally a brick-built system statue depicting the first incarnation of the character appeared in 2001 up until sometime after 2010 (possibly early 2011/2012), when the statue was removed and replaced with new brick-built statues depicting characters from Disney’s franchises rather than Lego’s original IPs.

Additional notes:

  • The brick-built system statue also appeared at the Mall of America outside of Disney-owned amusement park locations.
