While I agree with you that transparency would be preferable, it's not viable to convert the 100s or 1000s of images BS01 has with white backgrounds. To do it well requires a lot of work, even for something this small. And doing it poorly looks much worse than this currently does. For the record, I'm not a huge fan of image transparency since we have the colored backgrounds. Especially on brighter infoboxes, it's incredibly garish and tacky. If the template backgrounds could be coded to eliminate that, I wouldn't mind as much. -- I AM THE DOREK _{do not truffle with me} 09:42, 23 October 2014 (CEST)
