Old vs. New Quality

I'm of mixed feelings regarding the new uploads of these instructions (and 8721+8723+8725 as well). The new version has a much higher-quality banner at the top of each page, and properly shows shading instead of geometric lines. On the other hand... in all other regards, the older version is much better quality. The colors, saturation, and lighting are much clearer, and (outside the banner at the top) there isn't any of the horrible JPG-esque compression seen in the new version. If the older version was from BIONICLE.com and is an official file, then I'd say we should have kept it. --PeabodySam (talk) 17:04, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

That's probably because I used a program to get the matoran instruction pdfs (from this site, the ones from the lego.com) to be converted into jpgs, then I combined the 3 pages into one file again. I could try the same using png conversion too, but either way, it's originally from the lego.com instructions. On the other hand, just compare the Dagger Spider instructions, the old one had the dark grey matoran leg pieces and the black sucket joints in almost the same shade, which had me check the individual matoran instructions for the correct colors.--Surel (Talk) 18:25, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
And I think the matoran instructions has the same resolution quality btw, but I can try to convert them into pngs, to see if it's better or the same.--Surel (Talk) 18:26, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
RE: I've uploaded them via png conversion, but I don't think they are *that* much better. Still, the old one almost had no color difference between dark grey and black, so it had to go for accuracy.--Surel (Talk) 18:38, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
