"What is worse than looking out your window to see a swarm of chittering, ravenous Kinloka headed your way? I'll tell you - still being in your dwelling when they get there."
Rahaga Bomonga, Rahi Beasts

The Kinloka are vicious rodent-like Rahi.

The Kinloka species was created by Makuta Teridax using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe. Similar to Stone Rats, these creatures are the result of an experiment by Teridax to produce a Rahi with a more efficient digestive system. The unfortunate result was a nasty beast that is always hungry, and will devour anything in its path, including Matoran and structures.

A population of Kinloka settled on Metru Nui, near the Moto-Hub in Le-Metru, although some were seen near Ko-Metru and in Ta-Metru. At one point, these Kinloka accessed a vault of Kanoka Disks. Over time, they learned how to use them, and now commonly use them for hunting. Their small shooting power and range are compensated by great accuracy. The Rahi are seen to use many different Kanoka, but they usually carry weaken disks to slow down opponents. Mavrah attempted an experiment with Kinloka in an Archives sub-level, but they broke free.

Kinloka are also known to live on Zakaz. There, the native Skakdi use them to set off any hidden traps when they move around the island, creating the slang term stalking Kinloka.

Set Information

The Kinloka combiner model

The Kinloka can be built out of the Matoran sets Nuhrii, Orkahm, and Ahkmou. Instructions for the Kinloka were included with the three sets. Its tail features a Disk Launcher.

"When the Skakdi need to cross land that might be booby-trapped, they send the Kinloka through first. The creatures set off the traps and the Skakdi can cross safely."
Lariska, Federation of Fear
