Hello, sorry for reuploading the file of the "[[Turaga]] [[Lhikan]]" set. I know about both pictures, but I actually don't think the previous one it's a prototype or an official image, though it may be. The other image I know it's official and it's a good quality, but I've also seen some photographs like this one on the wiki, such as in the [[Sets]] page, and some images as I know only exist in said type of format. The first does appear to be a prototype or earlier render (the set number isn't present), but it's generally better than an actual photo. == Toa Hagah: General or Specific? ==
In the hopes of avoiding an edit war, I call on you to resolve a minor dispute about the [[Toa Hagah]] page. As you can see on the page's edit history, Intelligence4 and I have been going back and forth on whether Norik's team's goal of freeing the Toa Mahri should be listed on the page and/or denoted as a goal specific to a single team. Intelligence4's stance (correct me if I'm wrong) is that this is a page for all teams of Toa Hagah, and so any information about Norik's team should be denoted as such. I feel the opposite way -- the vast majority of information on the page refers to Norik's team, so I think listing Norik's team's goals is self-explanatory and doesn't need any clarifying details. The information on the page about other Toa Hagah teams is the exception, rather than the rule. :The problem is that if it were to be about Norik's team, it would have to be divested from the concept at large. It would have to be "Toa Hagah (Teridax)" or something equally loathsome, which is ridiculous since we never saw any other teams.

For instance, the main blurb talks about the other teams and narrows down to Norik's team, which is fine, but then the history section immediately launches into talking about Norik's team with no other mention of others, so that's a bit confusing to read (was it always like that?). So that could probably stand some tweaking.

::A problem here is that, yeah, there were a bunch of other Toa Hagah teams... and then they all got killed except for Norik's team. So any page about the entirety of the Toa Hagah will end up being... well... only about Norik's team. I agree with what Dorek said - making the page name "toa hagah(teridax)" would be horrible, and we have so little information on the others that making a separate page for them would be ridiculous. So considering the page as a whole would be about all Hagah, the infobox for the page would have to reflect that, with any other goals that specific teams took on needing a notation that it wasn't all hagah teams. since our pages are generally pretty exhaustive, all the history and information of norik's team would be able to stay on the page as is - after the other groups of hagah were killed off, (which the page says) then the reader can understand what's going on, as norik's team are still hagah after all.
:::Another idea i just thought of is we could make the infobox split like we have for various characters. (i.e. on any of the toa mata's page we have an infobox that shows their mata/nuva/adaptive forms depending on what you click). we could to the same thing for the hagah, and put the information about norik's team specifically under another one of those things that i can't think of the name for.

:I think we should keep it (duh, it's my edit haha). Since the page is about the hagah in general, the infobox should reflect that, and rescuing the mahri was specifically norik's team's mission, not all the hagah.

Norik isn't the leader of all Toa Hagah ever, and Bomonga isn't the deputy. Keetongu, the Toa Metru, and the Order of Mata Nui weren't allied with all the Toa Hagah. Not all the Toa Hagah opposed the Brotherhood of Makuta and the Visorak. :It's an interesting difference, because technically (as far as we've been told) a Toa wouldn't be able to do it at all, and since Toa are the only ones who have access to Elemental Powers, can anything (such as, but not limited to, Power Scream) truly be considered a "sub-power" if it's not something they can do?
:We've made the distinction before (Kazi's Echo Forks used to link to Sonics until it was decided that was stupid, though it's still mentioned on the Sonics page), so I could be pro removing some of these mentions that aren't necessarily specific to the element. But, by that same token, it would probably require making the distinction between (example) Sonics as a Power vs Sonics as an Element, which is such an unnecessary and overcomplicated quagmire that's best left to places like BZP to bicker about.

I had a couple of ideas for the splash page... you can see a concept [https://mtmnc.github.io/bs01splash/ here].
* The background image could be picked randomly from a list, and the "learn about" link at the bottom would correspond to the image. This means the background image and link text would be different on every page load. The page could actually pull that list from a protected wiki page (BIONICLEsector01:SplashImages for example) so sysops could easily add images. Not implemented yet, but the example shows how it might work for the Barraki article.
* Suggestions when you start typing. Wikipedia has a way of doing that already on its splash page, it might be possible to modify it for BS01. No promises though.

ran into this conversation from the recent changes; thought it was relevant to some thoughts i had when i first direct my browser to the website - I noticed a while ago that when i type "biosector01.com" into my browser that it doesn't take me to the wiki's main page. imho, i don't think that's a good idea. there's a significantly reduced functionality on the new "main" page, and you have to navigate elsewhere if you want to do anything besides search a particular article.

For what it's worth I've implemented search suggestions, but they don't work in the previews I linked to earlier. That's because the site they're hosted on (github.io) serves pages over HTTPS, but biosector01.com is served over HTTP. HTTPS sites won't load resources over HTTP, so the preview can't load page data from BS01. That said, it should work if you download the relevant files and open the page up on your computer. (You can download a ZIP [https://github.com/MtMNC/mtmnc.github.io here] from the "Clone or download" menu.) Search suggestions should show up on all of the HTML files in the bs01splash directory. If you don't want to download the previews, when I get the chance I'll get a demo up online pulling suggestions from Wikipedia instead. Question: is there a way we could implement an age verification feature for users so that greg could use this site to interact with us? he's stated on the LMBs that LEGO's social media policy prohibits interacting with minors online, but i don't think an age verification feature would be very difficult - right? also, isn't bs01 a lego partner site or something?
