Wow.
That’s really all I can say about how far this wiki has come since I first joined. It’s hard to believe it’s been… what, five years? Dang. All the information recorded, all the hard work done, all the shenanigans we pulled – it’s been an amazing ride.
However, at some point in your life, you’re forced to give up some things, even if you really don’t want to. Sadly, this is what has happened to me with BS01. As most of you know, I haven’t been active on here for the better part of a year. With the decline of BIONICLE and its story, so too my interest in it and editing declined, and it’s not something I ever thought could happen or wanted to happen, but it has. So rather than simply up and disappear one day and never return any of your messages (which is exactly what I did anyhow XD), I decided it’s time to officially end this.
It’s really hard to write all this, because at one time I said I’d never quit BS01, but most good things (not all, though!) must come to an end. I truly am glad that I was able to spend my time here amongst fellow editors and BIONICLE enthusiasts.
I’d like to apologize for any time I may have offended someone, for any work that I never got finished, including my comic series, or any time I was an annoyance to the Staff. Though you have to admit I had a pretty good track record. >:D </ego>
I’d like to thank the LEGO Group and the BIONICLE team for making such an amazing storyline, toyline, and overall experience. I’d like to thank all the editors of BS01, both past and present, for making this site what it is: the most detailed and in-depth BIONICLE database on the internet, and a great place to be in general. I’d like to thank all of my friends on here for their time, support, and humor. Among these I want to especially thank Grant-Sud, Twilight Avenger, The Lord of Shadows, Dark Light, KH, Nuparu1995, and Cykron. Of all my friends, they’re the ones I considered my “closest”. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean I didn’t appreciate the rest of you! :D
This doesn’t mean I’ll be 100% dead, though. If BIONICLE ever starts up again, or if Hero Factory ever becomes as extensive as BIONICLE, maybe I’ll come back. If you need to contact me, you can email me via Gmail or catch me on YouTube (BS01Obitor on both). Also I’ll probably check on the wiki every once in a while.
Alright guys, that’s my speech. It’s not lengthy or super-elegant, but then again, when has that ever been my style? :P So here’s to BIONICLEsector01 and all the good times I’ve had on it. Hopefully this wiki, as well as the BIONICLE legacy, will remain for years to come. I’m glad I was able to be a part of it.
