Talk:Vahki Online Animations

From BIONICLEsector01

Could we use the Matoran images from the animations for the matoran from the MNOG/MNOGII? I'd like to say, in the Bordakh's animation there's a clue Noble Matatu-wearer matoran, who looks like Shasa in her Metru Nui form, in the Zadakh's animation, there's a Pakari-wearer matoran who looks like Epena, or in the Keerakh's animation, there's a gray Noble Ruru-wearer Matoran, who is very similar to Jaa from Toa Nuju's promo CD. The Templar Studios created these animations, who created the MNOG and the MNOGII, so these matoran could be the same, couldn't they? -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 22:30, 17 October 2016 (CET)

I saw this on Talk:Mata Nui Online Game the other day, coming from Templar Studious themselves:

"in 2003 LEGO moved Bionicle development to their UK offices so we weren’t that involved when we worked on the Vahki animations. All we knew was setting, bad guys and abilities. The matorans shown are hapless randoms, any similarity is purely coincidental."

I think it works out better this way. It would be kind of weird if the hardworking Mata Nui Matoran turned out to be criminals in their previous lives. Master Inika (Talk) 01:23, 18 October 2016 (CET)

Okay, but in the Nuurakh's animation the Matoran aren't criminals, just Matoran workers, and from the Zadakh's animation the Great-Miru wearer matoran is just walking in the street, maybe he is just going to work. In the Vorzakh's animation there's a Pakari-wearer matoran, who witnesses the matoran chase, but do nothing against the law. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 20:23, 18 October 2016 (CET)

I don't think we should speculate on that. Intelligence4 (talk) 23:27, 18 October 2016 (CET)

I agree with Intelligence4 and Inika. Since Templar Studios has specifically said that the Matoran in these animations are not the Matoran in the MNOGs, we shouldn't conflate the two. It's frustrating, but that's how it is. --Angel Bob (talk) 19:51, 19 October 2016 (CET)
