Talk:The Mountain

From BIONICLEsector01

That last edit that changed the citation (april 7th (?) 2017) - is there a way to see the original text that greg typed? thinking more generally, not specifically to verify info on this page. Intelligence4 (talk) 00:31, 9 April 2017 (CET)
Q: When Mutran said to Chirox "Stop breathing on my creation," was he sort of talking him down, since only lesser beings need to breathe?

A: Yes.

Q: Was the organic stone linking Mutran’s cavern to the ceiling of Karda Nui a variant of the Xian rock he made? I suppose it’s a no-brainer but yeah.

A: Yes.

Q: Now that I think of the word "Xian," do you have to legally clear this separately from "Xia?"

A: Yes.

Q: I suppose having had as much free time as she has had, Helryx would have gone through phases? In the scene with the swamp strider she seemed to be in an inventing mood, but not so much during any other part of the book. It would make sense, you’re not going to stay the same for a hundred millennia.

A: Right, plus as your responsiblities change, so does the time you have to do things.

Q: I’m a little confused about the Nektann thing, he’s the one who actually built and designed the launchers and mechanoids, right? A Skakdi naming something they made after anyone but themselves would seem off, since they’re so self-centered, so I’m guessing they were his doing and not anyone else’s.

A: Or they were made under his auspices -- if you go to more dictatorial countries, a lot of things are named after the dictator because it’s not healthy to do anything else.

Q: On a side note, if you spell a BIONICLE term wrong in a book, and the incorrect spelling, by coincidence, is trademarked by another company, are they able to take legal action or will "It’s just a typo" stand up in court?

A: No idea, don’t work in Legal.

Q: How does the Order of Mata Nui learn of beings’ destinies, such as Krakua’s and allegedly Takanuva’s? Reading the stars? If so, why isn’t, say, Nuju able to learn of such things?

A: Different people have different skill levels at this sort of thing.
Any questions? I made the questions italic and Greg's answers bold to separate them. — SurelNuva (Talk) 07:25, 9 April 2017 (CET)

If you wanna see the quotes from GregCitations you need to download the three Official Greg Topics, then look at which of the topics is being referenced (Official Greg Discusion is OGD, Dialogue is OGDi, and Quotes is OGQ), finally copy the date in the reference, paste it on the search bar of the transcript, and you've found the quote. ~OnionShark 18:51, 9 April 2017 (CET)
dang surel, effort appreciated haha :)
Onion, i think i've done that before, i'll have to check my hard drive though. is that linked anywhere in a reference or anything, or is it just a available upon request sort of thing? it seems so unofficial to just have them in an off site text file that has to be downloaded to read. What if we copied its contents to a page on here? Intelligence4 (talk) 23:43, 9 April 2017 (CET)
