Talk:Light (Generation 1)

Electromagnetism

In the real world, light is the combination of the electric and magnetic fields in an area, with photons being bosons that actually make the 2 fields able to interact with matter. Photons will appear/are defined to be at regions in space where the 2 fields have waveforms exactly 90°("clockwise"/"right-handed" specifically, if I'm not mistaken). While I don't know if Greg ever said anything on the matter, would beings with elemental control over magnetism and electricity, working in perfect unison, be able to control light, or at least the physical element(I don't think they would be able to control moral light, but maybe they could). Furthermore, would this only be achievable if there was a fusion of two beings who control those, or would simple collaborative effort be sufficient to achieve this? Unless Greg has said something on it one way or another, that is not something that concerns the wiki. Real-world science physics do not necessarily apply in fictional settings, and it is not our place to decide how the world works. ~ Wolk (talk) 17:39, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
This is hilariously specific, but nothing's stopping you from incorporating this into your own stories. As far as the wiki is concerned, though, I don't think this would be necessary to cover even if it had been commented on by Greg. - Waddlez 20:07, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
