:Interesting. The thing about English is there can be tons of ways to write the same sound. "KOE" or "KOH" are pronounced the same, so that's fine. If we're after consistency we can pick one and roll with it. (I prefer "KOH" myself, even though "KOE" is used more.) Same with "OR" and "OAR." I suppose "kih-NEE" is better than "kin-NEE" because "kin-NEE" blends the "ki" and "ni" syllables together. I'm not sure why some words have different stress though. Adding prefixes shouldn't change the stress at all. -- '''[[User:Morris the Mata Nui Cow|Morris the Mata Nui Cow]]''' ([[User talk:Morris the Mata Nui Cow|talk]]) 18:56, 16 September 2017 (CET)

::i'm not sure what surel is saying in the beginning, i think i'm just too tired and getting lost in all the combinations of big and small letters lol. but i wanted to point out that KOE could be pronounced KOH-ee or KOH, while KOH can only be pronounced KOH. that's what i was saying on the nuhrii page - while the BEU has little things listed for their pronunciations, they're often wrong or ambiguous. So there's a running error in the BEU what I just noticed. The pronunciations of the matoran (mat-OAR-an), kini (kih-NEE - this one is used for the Kini-Nui article), wahi (wah-HEE), metru (MET-troo) (okay, it doesn't differ but in "Ko-Metru" the "ko" pronunciation is wrong), Suva (SOO-vah), Koro (KOAR-oh), the "ta-" (TAH)and the "ko-"prefix (KOE) somewhere differs from these basics. I mean:

• GAH-mat-OR-an, GAH-MET-troo, GAH-kin-NEE, GAH-koar-OH, GAH-soo-VAH, GAH-wah-HEE
• KOE-mat-OR-an, KOH-MET-troo, KOE-kih-NEE, KOE-koar-OH, KOH-soo-VAH, KOH-wah-HEE
• LAY-mat-OAR-an, LAY-MET-troo, LAY-kih-NEE, LAY-KOAR-oh, LAY-SOO-vah, LAY-WAH-hee
• oh-NOO-mat-OAR-an, oh-NOO-MET-troo, oh-NOO-KIH-nee, oh-NOO-KOAR-oh, oh-NOO-SOO-vah, oh-NOO-WAH-hee
• POH-mat-OAR-an, POH-MET-troo, POH-kih-NEE, POH-koar-OH, POH-soo-WAH, POH-wah-HEE
• TAH-mat-OAR-an, TAH-MET-troo, TAH-kih-NEE, Ta-Koro: TAH-koar-OH; Ta-Koro Guard: tah-KOAR-oh, TAH-soo-VAH, TAH-wah-HEE

The bold ones are the correct ones. If it's a mistake, that's an interesting one, I think. — SurelNuva (Talk) 19:25, 15 September 2017 (CET)
