The Study of Energized Protodermis was an experiment performed by the Great Beings to analyze the substance called Energized Protodermis and discover its capabilities.

History

100,000 years ago, the Agori discovered a silver liquid bubbling up from the core of the planet. They realized it had strange powers, with the ability to destroy or mutate anything it touched. The Element Lords, who governed over the Agori, argued over who should possess the liquid. Arguments led into skirmishes, which led into a full scale war between the tribes. The Great Beings, concerned about the situation, sent two Agori, Raanu and Kyry, to collect a small sample of the substance in a specially designed vial and return with it. When they brought the sample back, the Great Beings began to study the substance. They discovered it had incredible destructive powers. The Great Beings calculated that if anyone were to tap the full power of the liquid, stresses would grow inside the planet and rip it apart. This eventually happened when the Fire Tribe captured the spring and unknowingly initiated the Shattering.
