Shallows Cats are a species of feline Rahi that could be found on the island of Daxia.
History
The Shallows Cat species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe. Several took up residence on Daxia, where they were one of the few native species.[1]
After the Great Spirit Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, the surviving Shallows Cats left the Matoran Universe and immigrated to Spherus Magna.
Abilities and Traits
Shallows Cats are panther-like in appearance, and are the smaller, sleeker cousins of the Muaka.
A Shallows Cat hunts its prey by approaching it gently, appearing harmless. After the prey's guard is lowered, the Shallows Cat turns on it and drags it into the shallows of the sea to be drowned and devoured.[1]
