Sand Screamers are mysterious Rahi.
History
The Sand Screamer species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.
A population of Sand Screamers settled in the Voya Nui region of the Southern Continent. When the Great Cataclysm caused Voya Nui to rocket upwards to the surface of Aqua Magna, the Sand Screamers were carried with it and continued to live on the floating island.
When Voya Nui returned to its former position on the Southern Continent, it is likely that many of the Sand Screamers living there, in the Desert of Sorrows, perished.
Abilities and Traits
The Sand Screamer is known to often make agonized shrieks and leave tracks, although these tracks vanish within seconds. No Matoran has ever seen a Sand Screamer, but evidence shows that they are capable of bringing down larger beasts.
