"The mountain knows rage. When it's angry, the snows hurl from its peaks, and crash down in a terrible display. That is why we meditate on Peace."

Biography

Metru Nui

On Metru Nui, Lumi lived and worked in Ko-Metru. Shortly before the Great Cataclysm, he was captured by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then placed into a Matoran Sphere in the Coliseum and went into stasis but was later spirited away from the city by the Toa Metru and transported to the island of Mata Nui.

Mata Nui

As a result of his imprisonment in a Matoran Sphere, Lumi's size and strength were diminished, and lost his memories of Metru Nui. He worked for the construction of Ko-Koro, guided by Turaga Nuju and making use of materials from the Airships which had been used in the Great Rescue.[3]

In Ko-Koro, Lumi became an Acolyte, meditating on Mount Ihu's Anger. Subsequent to the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, he was rebuilt into a form resembling the one he had had on Metru Nui. Later, when the Ga-Matoran Hahli visited Ko-Koro during the Kolhii Tournament, Lumi explained the Principle of Peace and its Enemy, Anger, to her.

Lumi was evacuated from Ko-Koro with the other Ko-Matoran following the Rahkshi's attack on the village.

Return to Metru Nui

Lumi later helped in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui. He also worked in the joint effort of all the residents of the city, for its restoration. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.

Lumi and the other Matoran eventually migrated the the planet of Spherus Magna, following the death of Teridax and the incapacitation of the Great Spirit Robot during the Battle of Bara Magna.[4]
