Kylma is a Ko-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

On Metru Nui, Kylma lived and worked in Ko-Metru.

Just before the Great Cataclysm, he was captured by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then placed into a Matoran Sphere and went into stasis, but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and reawakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.

Mata Nui

Kylma's size and power had been diminished by the energy-sapping effects of the Matoran Sphere. Under Turaga Nuju's direction, he participated in the construction of Ko-Koro using elements of the disassembled Airships that had been used to transport them to the island.[3]

In Ko-Koro, Kylma became an Adept, deciphering the Prophecies upon the walls of the Sanctum. Kylma would meditate on the future and dictate these prophecies to Jaa the Scribe. Following the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Kylma was rebuilt into a form resembling the one he had had prior to being shrunk by a Matoran Sphere. When the Ga-Matoran Hahli visited Ko-Koro during the Kolhii Tournament, Kylma foresaw that she would become the Chronicler and that the Ta-Matoran Jaller would be killed by Rahkshi.

Kylma was evacuated from Ko-Koro with the other Ko-Matoran following the Rahkshi's attack on the village.

Return to Metru Nui

Kylma helped in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui. Once they had arrived, all the Matoran, including Kylma, commenced with work to repair the damaged city. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.

A few months later he and the other Matoran made a mass migration from Metru Nui to Spherus Magna following Teridax's defeat by Mata Nui.[4]
