Keahi is a Ta-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

On Metru Nui, Keahi lived and worked in Ta-Metru. Shortly before the Great Cataclysm, he was captured by the Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax, disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then forced into a Matoran Sphere but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.[2][3]

Mata Nui

Consequent to his confinement in a Matoran Sphere, Keahi was physically shrunken and weakened and also lost his memories of living on Metru Nui. He took part in the construction of Ta-Koro, instructed by Turaga Vakama and making use of materials from the disassembled Airships brought to the island in the Great Rescue.[4] Keahi became a member of the Ta-Koro Guard[5] and became well-versed in the Kolhii Skill of Strength. According to Jaller, Keahi is the most courageous member of the Ta-Koro Guard.[6]

Keahi tried to stop Tahnok-Kal from stealing Tahu's Nuva Symbol, but the thief stopped by trapping him in a field of electricity.[5] After the Bohrok-Kal were defeated, Keahi was rebuilt into a stronger form.[7] He later taught Hahli to increase her strength by kicking Kolhii Balls at columns, during the Kolhii Tournament.[6] Keahi was later evacuated with the other Matoran when the Rahkshi attacked Ta-Koro.[8][9]

Return to Metru Nui

Keahi helped in the construction of Boats to facilitate his and the other Matoran's return to Metru Nui.[10] Once they reached the partially destroyed city, he worked with the other Matoran to repair it. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.[11]

Keahi and the other Matoran were freed of Teridax's tyranny due to his being killed after the Great Spirit Robot was damaged from the Battle of Bara Magna. They then moved to Spherus Magna.[12][13]
