BIONICLE Facebook Page

This wiki should probably have some way of referencing the happenings of the Bionicle Facebook page, which often releases images and videos that are either exclusive or are not released on another source until later and hosts events such as contests. Bionicle websites have articles so it should seem logical that the facebook page should as well. Even if a page is not made, there should be some way of referencing events that unfold on the facebook page as well as images, videos, and other content. This could mean a nav template or a category of some form. Post your thoughts.

I've made pages for each of the individual contests (just been really slow fleshing them out, since nobody else seems to want to tackle it...), but a page for the Facebook page as a whole could be interesting. -- Dorek Talk External Image 08:25, 30 January 2016 (CET)

I assume this is the official BIONICLE page (i.e., it was actually run by LEGO, and not a fan page)? -- External Image Speak to Me 07:25, 18 February 2016 (CET)

Memoirs of the Dead/Thousand Years Untold 2 Stories

Some time ago, Jam Pot put this up on the main page discussion, but no one really said anything about it. On BZP on a topic in the BS01 category, he said he would put this up here, but I see he hasn’t.

Jam Pot was asking about the winning stories of the BZP S&T Memoirs of the Dead and Thousand Years Untold contests since, while they were originally supposed to be accepted as canon, Greg later said he didn’t consider these canon anymore. Jam Pot (and I) felt they should at least be included on BS01 with a semi-canon/non-canon tag, to distinguish them, much like Matoran names from ’01 that were never canon. --777stairs (talk) 02:15, 10 April 2016 (CET)

  1. As their own pages, no. As part of Dorek's Media page (yeah, it'll totally happen), sure. ζoxHistories External Image 06:42, 12 April 2016 (CET)
  2. If they are non-canon, why they should be here? --External Image 12:42, 12 April 2016 (CET)

I could see it as a mention, with the relevant links to where the stories are hosted, on the Media page (as part of my eventual overhaul it'll totally happen shut up), but beyond that, no for me. -- Dorek Talk External Image 07:37, 10 April 2016 (CET)

Could you provide a link to the source material you're proposing a page for? Intelligence4 (talk) 05:54, 12 April 2016 (CET)

@Eddy_Gould Well, technically the Mata Nui Online Game isn't canon and it's on here.--777stairs (talk) 02:41, 14 April 2016 (CET)

It's semi-canon, plus we have every Bionicle game here, though they aren't canon. --External Image 10:20, 14 April 2016 (CET)
The difference is, all the games were made by professional companies, with LEGO's approval. These stories were written by fans, and Greg agreed that he would look over and approve the winners -- but that never happened, so they were never officially recognized by any LEGO employee. I think they deserve a mention on a hypothetical Media page as "almost canon", but until we make that page, I don't think they have a compelling case for inclusion. --Angel Bob (talk) 21:50, 14 April 2016 (CET)
I would settle for a Media page I guess.--777stairs (talk) 02:59, 15 April 2016 (CET)
