Vandalism

What is Vandalism? Vandalism is when an editor with malicious intents come to the Wiki and intentionally destroys and sabotages its content. These editors are known as "vandals."

How to Fight Vandalism The best way to fight vandalism is to alert others to help you. In order to do this, you must make good use of the Minicon. The MiniCon is a vandalism alert system which is displayed on the Recent Changes page. For more details of how to use the Mini, see here. After that, you should help with reverting edits made by the vandals. To do this, simply go through the normal undo routines. ("Archives" tab, click on edit before first vandal edit, "edit" tab, "save page" button.) Depending on whether a staff member is online and able to help, a vandalism attack may last only a few seconds to few hours. Which means you should try your best to revert the vandal edits until a staff comes. If you're unable to continue due to time problems, ask another online member to help you.
