Arktinen is a Ko-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

Arktinen lived and worked in Ko-Metru.

He was captured by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then placed into a Matoran Sphere in the Coliseum and went into stasis but was later spirited away from the city by the Toa Metru and transported to the island of Mata Nui.

Mata Nui

Arktinen was awakened by the Toa Metru on the shores of Naho Bay on Mata Nui. Despite the fact that his memory had been erased and his size and power diminished by the Matoran Sphere, he assisted in the construction of Ko-Koro using parts from the Airships the Toa Metru had used to transport the Matoran.

In Ko-Koro, Arktinen became an Icesmith. Following the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Arktinen was rebuilt into a form like the one he had held on Metru Nui. During her visit to Ko-Koro during the Kolhii Tournament, the Ga-Matoran Hahli asked Arktinen to craft flags for her to use while navigating the Drifts.

Arktinen was evacuated from Ko-Koro with the other Ko-Matoran following the Rahkshi's attack on the village.

Return to Metru Nui

Arktinen helped in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui, where he took up residence and helped his fellow Matoran in their work of restoring the city, which had suffered damage. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.

Arktinen, along with the other surviving Matoran, relocated to Spherus Magna following the death of Teridax.
