Aodhan is a Ta-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

Preceding the Great Cataclysm, Aodhan lived and worked in Ta-Metru. He was captured by the Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax, who had disguised himself as Turaga Dume. Aodhan was then forced into a Matoran Sphere, but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.

Mata Nui

His confinement in a Matoran Sphere caused Aodhan to be diminished in size and strength and also lose his previous memories. He assisted in the construction of Ta-Koro shortly after arriving on Mata Nui, under Turaga Vakama's supervision, taking materials from Airships used in the Great Rescue.

In Ta-Koro, Aodhan became a Lava Farmer. Following the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, he was rebuilt into a stronger form. He was later evacuated from Ta-Koro along with the other Matoran during the attack by the Rahkshi Guurahk, Panrahk, and Lerahk.

Return to Metru Nui

Aodhan aided in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui, following which he and the other Matoran worked to repair their home city. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.

After Teridax was defeated in the Battle of Bara Magna, causing severe injury to the Great Spirit Robot, Aodhan, with other surviving Matoran of the city, departed for Spherus Magna.

• Aodhan, spelled as "Aodhán," is an Irish name meaning "little fire," which is derived from the Old Irish name "Aedan."
