Aiyetoro is an Onu-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

On Metru Nui, Aiyetoro lived and worked in Onu-Metru.

He was captured by the Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax, disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then forced into a Matoran Sphere, but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.[3][4]

Mata Nui

Aiyetoro lost his memories of his previous life on Metru Nui and was reduced in size and strength due to the effects of the Matoran Spheres. Nonetheless, he took part in the construction of Onu-Koro, under Turaga Whenua's instruction, incorporating pieces of the dismantled Airships that had been used in the Great Rescue.[5]

In Onu-Koro, Aiyetoro was a Miner who dug for Ore.[6] He temporarily evacuated the village with the other Matoran when Bohrok attacked.[7] He was later rebuilt after the Bohrok-Kal were defeated.[8]

While Hahli was visiting Onu-Koro during the Kolhii Tournament, Aiyetoro was experiencing difficulty finishing his shift because he did not have a Lightstone to help him. When Hahli retrieved one for him from Great Mine Cave E, he rewarded her with twenty-five Widgets and explained the importance of the Virtues of Duty and Destiny honored in Onu-Koro.[6]

Aiyetoro was evacuated from Onu-Koro during the Rahkshi attack along with the other Matoran.[9][10]

Return to Metru Nui

Following the Rahkshi's defeat and Metru Nui's rediscovery, Aiyetoro aided in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui.[11] There, he worked in the reconstruction of parts of the city which had fallen to ruin. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.[12]

After Teridax's defeat in the Battle of Bara Magna ended his reign over the Matoran Universe, Aiyetoro shifted residence to Spherus Magna, along with the other surviving Matoran of the city.[13][14]
