The Aero Slicers were Toa Matau's Toa Tools. Matau used them to channel his element of Air, as well as in melee combat. Matau was also able to attach his Aero Slicers to his back to use them as glider wings and rotors.

An Aero Slicer in Legends of Metru Nui

When Matau became a Toa Hordika, they were mutated into Fang Blades. When Keetongu cured the Toa Hordika, along with Matau, the Fang Blades transformed into their original state. These later transformed into the Kau Kau Staff when Matau became a Turaga.

Example Usage

In Legends of Metru Nui, Matau used these blades to fly as he was plummeting from a Ko-Metru Chute support after he slipped from Vakama's grasp.

Set Information

The Aero Slicers debuted in set form in the Toa Matau set in 2004. They could be attached to pins on Matau's back to simulate their gliding function. When on his back they were also able to fold back for storage.
