Water Wraiths are small marine Rahi created by Teridax. They are extremely tiny compared to other fish-like Rahi living underwater, and as such are ignored by most other aquatic Rahi looking for food. To hunt for a meal itself, the Water Wraith has a unique and deadly tactic. It will occasionally assault a much larger Rahi, which inevitably defeats the puny creature and gulps the small Rahi into it's mouth. However, the Water Wraith has a powerful physiological adaptation, which coats the outer shell of its body in poison. As the bigger beast soon finds out, it has made a fatal mistake which kills it almost instantly. After the larger Rahi has died, the Water Wraith escapes back to the outside world and feeds on the dead creature for several months.
