I tend to make a lot of MOCs (My own creations). I'm nowhere good enough at Legos to build them; I just think them up. Anyway, this is sort of a gallery that I made for them. I also tend to imagine how the story would go if they were really in it, but there's not enough room in here for that. Thus I'm just going to put just the characters, masks, etc. If you want to comment on any of them, please, feel free to do so on this article's talk page. I hope you enjoy! :)

Toa

Vahi

Toa Vahi
Title Toa Kanohi of Time
Element Time
Primary Group Toa Kanohi
Location Karda Nui
Mask Vahi
Tools Staff of Time, Midak Skyblaster, Adaptive Armor
Status Alive
Pronunciation Same as the mask

The Toa of Life got tired of being the only Toa not in any sort of group. So he started his own: the Toa Kanohi (this is not an actual group-I made it up) so called because they are made from masks the way he was. Toa Vahi is the first one the Toa of Life made ... excluding himself. Right now she's in Karda Nui alongside Ignika. Yes, I know that Ignika is not an actual Toa but cut me some slack if I think of him as one. Because of the Energy Storms, Vahi has left Karda Nui. Her current status is unknown

Powers

Vahi has full access to the powers of the mask that she wears, the same mask she was made from and named after, the Kanohi Vahi. She can also create a temporal field around herself the way Voporak can. Her temporal field is different from his though; she can choose to lower the field, have the person age to the point of turning to dust, or reduce their age to before they were born. Like other Toa, Vahi can fire elemental attacks thus allowing her to increase or reduce a being's age from a distance. This can be used to harm a person (same way as Voporak) or to help them. This might seem contradictory so let me give some examples:

  1. Cure a person of mutations
  2. De-age a broken object to fix it
  3. If someone has gone insane from something inside him (i.e. Hordika Venom) she can reverse their age to before it got inside him. The longer ago it happend the more Elemental Energy she'll have to use.
  4. Reverse time around a wound to before it existed thus erasing it

Starting to get the idea?

Vahi's Nova Blast will actually erase a being from history. Because of the significance of erasing a being and everything he/she has done, she needs to think it through before she uses a Nova Blast.

Just as the Toa of Light carries the Staff of Light, the Toa of Time carries a Staff of Time to channel her elemental powers. She also carries a Midak Skyblaster and wears Adaptive Armor.

Personality

Vahi's constantly changing personality makes her incredibly difficult to define and predict. She seems to be wiser than any Turaga one moment and the next she wants a cookie. She has also been seen everywhere in between. While there is no pattern in her age, Vahi's core personality is constant. She is more than willing to fight anyone that is against her friends or the Great Spirit, and if any of her friends are in danger, they can be sure she will do anything within her vast power to help them.

Toa Rua

A group of Toa given a mission by Artakha. They are currently in Karda Nui. They are called the Toa Rua because they are highly experienced and wise. All are equipped with Adaptive Armor given to them by Artakha. It is unknown what their mission is, but they are keeping tabs on the Toa Kanohi (see above team) while doing something else.

Toa Lesovikk

He is obviously the first choice for a member of a team of wise toa; He was in the first team after all. His Adaptive Armor allows him to breath air.

Order of Mata Nui

Av-Kraahkan

Av-Kraahkan
Order of Mata Nui
Location Karda Nui
Mask Mask of Restoration, carries Rau
Tools Kanoka launcher attached to left arm
Status Dead
Pronunciation N/A

This being's name is in Matoran which I'm not very good at. Translated into English it means "Shadow of Light." I think it would be Av-Kraahkan so that's what I'm going to call it. I know this sounds wierd, but you'll understand it once I tell you that he is a former member of the Brotherhood of Makuta. Wait! Hear me out! When the Brotherhood rebelled against the Great Spirit this Shadow of Light didn't. He tried to stop the rebellion in fact, but failed ... miserably. he went into hiding since he knew the Brotherhood would try to kill him. Disguised as a Matoran, he began to study the ancient legends looking for something that would help end the Brotherhood or, better yet, return it to the mind set it once held. He even went in search of Artakha with a Matoran friend, but they failed (these are the same Matoran mentioned in Bionicle World.) A member of the Order found him and, after watching him for a long time, invited him into the Order. He more than readily accepted this invitation. While with the Order, Av-Kraahkan took advantage of its resources and his shapeshifting power to get the form he has now. When he heard what was going on with the Mask of Life, he went straight there to see how he could help. By the time he got there, Matoro was already headed for Karda Nui (he would have realised what was going on sooner, but he was doing a mission for the Order that kept him busy). He tried to catch up but couldn't. Voya Nui plugged up the entrance to Karda Nui before he got there. using his power of Intagibiliy he got through, but by the time he got through, Matoro had already used the mask.

Av-Kraahkan fought with the Toa against the Makuta that invaded Karda Nui. He managed to bring light to many of the Shadow Matoran. When the Energy Storms hit, Av-Kraahkan went back and tried to rescue the Makuta still there. Somehow, he tore down the barriers in their minds and brought light back into them (like converting a Shadow Matoran into a regular Matoran). However, none of them managed to escape Karda Nui in time. With him died the knowledge of how to bring Light to Makuta.

I usually have a powers section with my characters, but since Av-Kraahkan is a Makuta, everyone already knows what powers he has. There are some powers he won't use for certain reasons; I'll list these under personality.

Form and Equipment

Something like a large Toa; this makes him strong, but still agile and maneuverable. He has a Kanoka Disk Launcher on his left arm attached between his wrist and elbow. He wears a Mask of Restoration (see below on this page), but he also carries a Great Mask of Translation which he will put on if he finds anything that needs translation or to talk to someone or something that speaks another language. Before joining the Order, he often used this his Rau to translate ancient legends that he found. He has a jet pack attached to his back so that he can fly, and his legs can shift Transformers-style into underwater propellers.

Personality

Av-Kraahkan is determined to not be like the other Makuta. He never does anything that would endanger anyone else but is more than willing to sacrifice himself if he helps stop the Brotherhood or help the Great Spirit. He never even considers using Shadow Leeches; he didn't go blind from Matoro's sacrifice. However if he did, he would prefer going the rest of his life blind as apposed to stealing a Matoran's light. However, he will use Rahkshi in dire circumstances, but never the six Rakshi used to attack Mata Nui-they're too evil being the enemies of the six Principles. He also won't use his Shadow powers believing that the more a being uses them the more evil that being becomes.

Because of his time intensly studying ancient legends, he knows a great deal. Sometimes his knowledge surpasses even that of the Makuta of Metru Nui.

Unlike most of his species, Av-Kraahkan has a sense of honor. Thus, he won't fight deceptivly unless he ahs to, and he won't lie period. He also doesn't use his Rahi Control or Insect Control abilities. Why?
"Perhaps the Great Beings see us the way we see Rahi: smaller beings with little to no intelligence. I wouldn't want to be forced into battle to serve a powerful being that can easily defend itself; I'm willing to bet that Rahi feel the same way"
— Av-Kraahkan

Mosaic

Mosaic
Order of Mata Nui
Location Metru Nui
Mask Faxon
Tools Staff that separates into 2 swords, Zamor Launcher attached to shoulder, natural Rhotuka launcher under chest
Status Alive
Pronunciation Just like the English

A mysterious being and my personal favorite, Mosaic's name stems from having the abilities of several other beings. Little is known about Mosaic after he joined the Order of Mata Nui and even less before. There are many rumors surrounding him. One says that he is from another dimension, one where BIONICLE is fiction. Another says that he was immediately exposed to Energized Protodermis after coming to the Bionicle dimension.

He was assigned to Metru Nui to watch Dweller and make sure nothing happened to Takanuva. He was watching Dweller when Takanuva was attacked by the Shadow Leeches and feels extremely guilty about that.

When Teridax threw the Kanohi Ignika into space, Mosaic was seen heading toward a deep part of the Archives. A few minutes later, something broke through the Silver Sea and passed through the Great Barrier without leaving a scratch behind.

Powers

Mosaic has probably one of the strangest powers you have ever heard of, but it is also one of the most useful. When he touches someone, he copies all of their powers. The two then "share" those powers until the original dies. Example: if he touched Hakann, Mosaic would have all of Hakann's powers until Hakann died. However, he doesn't steal the powers, so Hakann would still have the powers also. Yet Mosaic doesn't take on physical traits, so he wouldn't turn into a thousand Protodites by touching Zaktan. On the other hand, he does get physical strength. It is unknown what will happen if he were to touch a Toa. Mosaic doesn't need to touch a being though; he can channel his copy power through his Rhotuka. Also, if he were to touch a being with a Rhotuka power, he can then use that power with his own launcher. He cannot, however, channel any power into his Rhotuka. Here are all the beings he shares powers with so far:

  1. all of the Piraka(got them when they went to Makuta's lair)
  2. Mana-Ko (their ability to blow up stuff and their physical strength)
  3. Dweller

Since he has touched all of the Piraka, Mosaic is able to use the elemental combination attacks that they have, but doesn't need to collaberate with a second being since he already has all the elements. He can also use their other attacks, making him a highly dangerous enemy.

Form and Equipment

Mosaic is a large titan with four arms. He's not as large as Makuta's Shadow Titan form though. Mosaic has a Zamor Launcher attached to his top left shoulder a lot like Toa Inika Nuparu. In addition, Mosaic carries a staff bladed at both ends that is taller than even he is. This staff can be separated into two swords. To add to his already immense array of abilities, Mosaic wears the Kanohi Faxon which he gets a lot of mileage out of due his vast knowledge of Rahi. His Faxon is different from others seen thus far in that there is a telescopic lens attached to the left eye. This lens is also a unique one because it can see through projected illusions. It's not like the Rode however in that it can't see invisible beings or lies, only illusions.

Personality

Even though he is one of the most powerful beings seen yet, Mosaic knows that brains are better than brute strength. Also, being a member of the Order causes him to stay back and let something happen that he would prefer not to happen, such as someone dying. He does it so that the Order can remain secret, but he still doesn't like doing it. Some day he may crack and expose himself to save someone.

Skakdi

Many prophecies are about Matoran, but not all of them. Take for example one about the Skakdi. One so ancient that few know it even exists let alone what it says. I'm an exception. Keep reading, and you will be also.

The first part of the prophecy says that life on Zakaz would never be the same after a visit from an incredibly dark being. This being was Spiriah who has done his part. The next part says that there would be two Skakdi: one who could bring Zakaz up from the ashes and another that could make it as legendary as Karzahni but for even worse reasons. It further states that the two would be in a fierce battle with the winner being the one to fulfill his destiny on Zakaz. It never stated who would win. This part of the prophecy has come to pass.

Nameless

Nameless

Tool(s) Combination axe/gun
Location Hiding in a dark cave somewhere on Zakaz
Alliances None

Faceless is the Skakdi prophecied to save Zakaz and return it to its former self. The only reason he carries a weapone is because the other Skakdi attack him when they see him; they don't understand why he's so different from them. He hides in the caves on Zakaz so that they won't find him. To the majority of Skakdi, he is only a rumor and a myth. To them, he is just the Boogey-man living in their caves. No one knows where he comes from or what his name is, not even himself. Thus, the few that know of his existence call him Nameless.

Personality

Whereas other Skakdi have malicious grins, his is kind. Whereas they are cruel, he is gentle. In essence, he is everything they aren't.

Powers and Equipment

Faceless controls the element of Light. He can channel it through his axe/gun combo-weapon. His vision ower is Future Sight making him nearly unbeatable in a fight. Actually, it's nearly impossible to actually get in a fight with him; he uses his Future Sight to detect and avoid conflict before it even happens. He can only see a few minutes into the future, however. His other power is Adaption making him even harder to beat. Whereas Reidak adapts after a defeat, Nameless adapts every time he is hit. If you hit him with a fireball, he becomes immune to a firestorm. He carries a gun/axe combo weapon. By combo weapon I mean like the weapons the Piraka carry.

Every light casts a shadow. This is the shadow of Nameless.

Faceless is prophecied to turn Zakaz into a place more feared than the realm of pure nightmares. He is cruel, dark, and smart. There are few beings as evil as him. Right now he is in caves on Zakaz but not the same ones that Nameless is in. Every now and then, some poor Skakdi will wonder into the caves where he lives. You don't want to know what happens to that Skakdi.

Personality

As I've said, Faceless is cruel, dark, and intelligent. He's also patient and waiting for the right time to strike, to change Zakaz and the Skakdi forever.

Powers and Equipment

Faceless has the power to transform into your worst fear complete with that being's powers. He enjoys this power so much that no one knows what his true form is. Thus, he's called Faceless. Because he's around Skakdi so much Faceless usually transforms into Irnakk. When e transforms, he retains his other powers. His vision power is disintigration (like Shadowed One). He does carry a combo weapon, but it transforms with him, so what weapon he carries is unknown also. He weilds it just in case he needs to channel his Shadow element.

Kanohi

Restoration

The user of this ingenious creation of mine has the ability to restore something into what it once was. This means that it can:

  1. Heal wounds
  2. Restore a being's light
  3. Repair broken objects
  4. Rid a being of insanity(unless he/she was born insane)
  5. Cure a person of any mutations
  6. Cure a person of Hordika Venom(no matter how far gone they are)

There are some limitations though. If the user wants to affect a sentient being, that being has to be a willing recipient. I.e. if a Shadow Matoran wants to remain a Shadow Matoran, there is nothing the mask's user can do. Thus, it can't be used on a Makuta. Also, the larger the object, the longer it takes. Thus, it would take several years to completely repair Metru Nui after the Great Cataclysm. However, that time has been greatly reduced thanks to the Staff of Artakha. Finally, this is a mask of resoration. If a being was born insane, with any deformities, etc., then the powers of this mask can do nothing for that being.

Calculations

The user of this mask can mentally do complex calculations and measure anything so long as it is for a calculation. If it is to calculate things for a physical feat, then the user can do the feat. Example: Calculating the proper variables to maximize the damage done by a hammer: size of arc, speed, etc. (In short, don't challange this mask's user to a game of billiards or darts.) there is only one in existence made by Artakha.

Chronicles

The user of this mask can recieve visions telling the history of a nearby being or item. It can also show if an event was precedented as well as the event's outcome. Plus the mask also records all the memories of past wearers.
