The Tren Krom Break is a site in Ta-Wahi famous for its Ignalu Lava Surfing competitions. During the infected Rahi time, the Ta-Matoran Guard had an outpost which kept contact with the North March. However, the outpost eventually fell to the Rahi. Lava Farmers also farmed lava here. It was later cleared by the reawakened Bohrok swarms.

The area was named after the legendary figure of Tren Krom by Vakama while he was still a Toa Metru.
In the Mata Nui Online Game, a Cable Car crossed Tren Krom and reached Ko-Wahi, but this was stated by Greg Farshtey to be non-canon.
