A Trader is a being that buys and sells items and supplies to others. Traders often will specialize what they sell to the place they have set up shop. For example, several Traders in Onu-Koro have found that fresh fish from Ga-Koro sell very well. On Stelt, there was a Trader of Sidorak's species who sold boats.
