Please do NOT add a picture of Keetongu for Triglax's image.

Can this be added? 3. This question involves the Dark Hunters. Now, on the cover of the Dark Hunters Guide is an image of Keetongu. You explained how this was canon by introducing in The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet this Dark Hunter who utilized chameleon abilities and used them to take the form of Keetongu. Now, in Bionicle Adventures 10: Time Trap, in a conversation between Lariska and the Shadowed One, a Dark Hunter named Triglax was mentioned. Now, we have two Dark Hunters: one with an image and power, but no name; and one with a name but no image or power. Therefore, I was wondering if, as head of the BIONICLE story team, you could sanction the merging of these two characters, thus causing the chamelon-powered Dark Hunter to be identified as Triglax, since it is already off the approved names list and the chameleon-powered Dark Hunter has no name?

3) That makes sense

It establishes him as the chameleon, or wouldn't it be fully canon, etc.?--Sir Koji (Sword|Felled Enemies) 17:42, 20 January 2008 (PST)

We'll have to think about it. It's similar to the VNOLG Dezalk issue. ~Jester Lih

The answer is no. It's not official, so it shall not be added. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 18:11, 20 January 2008 (PST)

Actually, I asked Greg for confirmation that Triglax was the chameleon Dark Hunter from The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet, which he confirmed with a definite yes. That PM has since been posted in the Official Greg Discussion topic at BZP.--Endaro 08:37, 21 January 2008 (PST)

Until it is referenced officially, I still do not believe anything should be changed. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 08:41, 21 January 2008 (PST)

Exactly what would you require for "offical reference?" If you need a quote from the PM/OGD, here it is:

Endaro Mahri: Thanks for the answers. However, in order to officially add the info from number 3 to Biosector01 wiki, they're asking for official confirmation. Therefore, can you confirm that Triglax is in fact the Dark Hunter with chameleon powers from The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet?

GregF: Yes

--Endaro 10:35, 21 January 2008 (PST)

Think he means used in story. ~dR. ChOlIe™ (Blab/Fune Zone) 10:35, 21 January 2008 (PST)
Well isn't BS01 all about Storyline? :P If we have an official confirmation...that's great! Phoenix of Ice 10:37, 21 January 2008 (PST)

And yet I still have trouble buying into all of this. Greg is not supposed to take suggestions from fans - he's said many times he will not do it. Yet, it appears as if he did here. I just don't know if it should be changed or not... Yes, we've added stuff he's said on BZP countless times, but those things usually end up appearing elsewhere too... I don't know if this will (To make it "official" by having occured in the story...), so... Ugh. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 10:49, 21 January 2008 (PST)

However, Greg has taken suggestions before, just not ones that would have a major effect on the storyline. For instance, in Chapter 4 of Into the Darkness, Greg used BionicleFanNuva's suggestion for his wife to do Hahli's voice. Similarly, I don't see the Triglax thing as a drastic change. After all, just look at the facts. In Time Trap, a Dark Hunter is mentioned named Triglax. No information is given about him other than that he kept payment from the Shadowed One. Now, in The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet, an unnamed Dark Hunter appears with a chameleon ability. This was used by Greg to explain Keetongu's appearance on the cover of the Dark Hunters guide. Pretty much all I did was ask Greg if these two characters were one-in-the-same, since the evidence suggested that they could be just that. So, in reality, you could say that Greg took my suggestion, or you could say that he simply confirmed what I'd guessed at based on the evidence.--Endaro 11:06, 21 January 2008 (PST)

I've made up my mind and nothing will be changed. What you did was speculate. There was no evidence to support any of it. None at all. As for the Into the Darkness reference - I mean story changes. Who voices what is irrelevant here. Until this is referenced in the official story, it shall not be changed. Please note that if you continue to press this matter, it will be considered defying staff, and there could be negative consequences to that. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 11:11, 21 January 2008 (PST)

So where do we draw the line? Is the issue because it was suggested by a fan, or because it hasn't appeared in a published story? Greg confirms little tidbits all the time that aren't anywhere else, it's what he does. If he gives a snippit of info in the OGD but it isn't specifically mentioned in something Greg authors, does that mean it's bad info? Bjj8383

I'm not going to try to fight this decision by E.T., but I am going to PM Greg and ask some questions about this issue. Maybe he could add that information in Dark Mirror or something if he would have the opportunity. What then? Official or not if something like that were to happen?--Sir Koji (Sword|Felled Enemies) 18:23, 21 January 2008 (PST)

Seriously though, ET, it has been confirmed by Greg as a definite "yes". Surely we can add that in? *goes consult with Swert* ~ Talk Non-BS01 Image Design ~

I don't know whether to be insulted that you guys are challenging me, or proud that you have the guts to do it... But anywho, I didn't want to change anything until I talked to Greg myself to get things straightened out (So that there is absolutely no doubt and he's 100% sure about this - the "yes" before wasn't just a "Yes, I've said that," and not a "Yes, that's what it is," for example. I just want to be sure - and, Koji, that's actually something I had been considering. For the serials, he doesn't have to stick to the rules like he does the novels, so... Heh, he might just slip Triglax in there.). I've yet to receive an answer. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 03:14, 22 January 2008 (PST)

If ET told you not to add it, then don't add it. I deleted the added things.--Tahu Freak 13:00, 22 January 2008 (PST)

Thank you Tahu Freak... But now that I have confirmation that it is indeed now canon, I'm going to add the new information... --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 13:06, 22 January 2008 (PST)

Image

I've been thinking, since the picture on the cover of the Dark Hunter guide is (storywise) triglax, shouldn't that image be added to this article? (The preceding unsigned comment was made by Charcharodon.)

I could swear someone did that before, but it was reverted. So no, it shouldn't be added. ;) ~Nurse Cholie (/) 19:06, 19 May 2008 (PDT)
Reasoning being that it's still technically a Keetongu, not Triglax. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 03:30, 20 May 2008 (PDT)
Yes, but, isn't the Krahka image still technically a Toa Nui? -Lhiky

About Status

I checked with Greg, and he says triglax is still alive. Let know if you want me to pm the message.(The preceding unsigned comment was made by Charcharodon.)

Just post it in the OGDT; then you won't have to PM it to anyone. ;) --Master of the Rahkshi 9:41 AM, 5/24

QUOTE Hey Greg, I have a few questions about Triglax.

1.Is he still alive?

2.Does he have a true form?

3.Is he a member of Krekka's species?

Answer when you can.

1) Yes 2) Yes 3) I think you mean Krahka, not Krekka, and no. Krahka is a Rahi, Triglax is not.

Here it is. (The preceding unsigned comment was made by Charcharodon.)
