I was thinking, should we put a "before-after" pic with Karzahni? Aravagantos | Talk/My Minor Contribs 13:39, 28 November 2007 (PST)
Yeah, why not? Exo Malakai: Master of Heat and Flame (Quickspeak|Contributions)
- I say no. The spieces and degree of mutation can very quite a bit, so I don't think a before pic would do any good. -- Cheers, Gravitan(Talk | Contribs) 13:42, 28 November 2007 (PST)

Name
Shouldn't we just call it 'mutagen', it's leaked to other parts of the universe now and it's origin is definitely NOT the pit. Why do we still call it 'pit mutagen'? Mirror Lesovikk 06:17, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
Maxilos
He's a robot...but should we add to "Unaffected beings"? Phoenix of Ice 11:36, 16 January 2008 (PST)
- A robot isn't a being, is it? :P ~dR. ChOlIe™ (Blab/Fune Zone) 11:38, 16 January 2008 (PST)
- I'd actually count it as a being. I mean...Robots in the Bionicle can think for itself and do complex stuff (Like guard the Pit) I guess this depends on the point of view...Let's leave it for now then. :/ Phoenix of Ice 14:23, 16 January 2008 (PST)
- In that case, why not add Makuta himself? While not a solid entity, by the definition of "being" we're using here (that is, living entities) he was among those not affected.--Aanchir 14:50, 16 January 2008 (PST)
- I say adding Makuta makes sense, but Maxilos only thinks in artificial intelligence. ;) ~dR. ChOlIe™ (Blab/Fune Zone) 14:51, 16 January 2008 (PST)
Kanohi damage
Shouldn't we put a bit saying that the mutagent can damage masks, like it did with the Olmak, Ignika and Olisi?--Voya Nui Toa 07:48, 27 January 2008 (PST)
Inika
Aren't they immune to it, or does Mahri cover them as well?--Sir Koji (Sword|Felled Enemies) 13:48, 2 March 2008 (PST)
The Mahri/Inika weren't affected by the mutagen. They were transformed by the mask. --Wrinkledlion X 13:50, 2 March 2008 (PST)
- Ask Greg specifically for the Inika. The Mahri were not but I think the Inika were mutatable. GB #1 teh BS01 Jester |(Quick-Speak)/(New Member Hub!)\(Add old BS01 Pics!) 13:52, 2 March 2008 (PST)
Mutagen
In the OGD, somewhere, it revealed what the Mutagen was, should it be added? --Spring's here! TNU (Talk| My Contribs| Sig Shop) 16:31, 16 March 2008 (PDT)
- Er... What is it? Erebus teh n00b(Quick-Speak)
- You mean about it being energy? That's already up there. --Master of the Rahkshi 4:33 PM, 3/16
Icarax immune to mutagen?
When Icarax came down to the pit to deliver the staff of Artahka to Teridax was he affected by the mutagen?(The preceding unsigned comment was made by BioRG)
- No, he never touched the water. ;) ~ThAt'S mR. cHoLiE™ tO yOu! (OBJECTION!/VOTE FOR ME! LAST CHANCE!) 20:52, 18 March 2008 (PDT)
Really he actually didn't touch it? I thought he swam down and gave Teridax the staff.--BioRG 21:57, 18 March 2008 (PDT)
- Theoretically, he's still a Makuta armor and energy, like MoMN. Not only that, but he probably used teleportation, much like Botar did, and probably didn't stick around to be hit. --

Teridax Affected?
Shouldn't we put Teridax as immune to the mutagen? I'll add it if he is.(The preceding unsigned comment was made by BioRG)
Should I put him in Immune still and say he was in Maxilo's body? (The preceding unsigned comment was made by BioRG)
- It's best to leave it the way it is. ;) ~ThAt'S mR. cHoLiE™ tO yOu! (OBJECTION!/VOTE FOR ME! LAST CHANCE!) 21:12, 18 March 2008 (PDT)
Makuta species Immune to Mutagen?
Does anyone know what happens if a Makuta in their protosteel armor makes contact with pit mutagen? I heard on BZPower, on the pit Mutagen theory that Greg said that the mistika Makuta will only go into the mutagen if they werent smart enough.--BioRG 21:36, 18 March 2008 (PDT)
Can someone Pm Greg about "Are Makuta Immune to pit mutagen?", I don't know how to do it on Bzp I'm a new member there and I don't know how to.--BioRG 15:08, 19 March 2008 (PDT)
Taken from OGD post #2974
2.What would happen if a makuta came in contact with pit mutagen?
2) He would be mutated
Well there's the truth, Makuta are not immune.--BioRG (My Page|Talk|Contributions) 14:35, 5 May 2008 (PDT)
Is the mutagen inactive?
Since the Mutagen was released by the Great Cataclysm (see page), and the Staff of Arthaka undid the damage (except for KArda Nui), does that mean the mutagen is inactive? (If this is a DUAUG, then please do it for me. I am not a BZP member, and will probably never be) Leolab 14:47, 19 May 2008 (PDT)
Question\Theory for Greg
I just had a sudden inspiration about the Pit Mutagen, what if it is derived from the energy in Karda-Nui!?! It is a byproduct of a vital process and the energy from Karda-Nui is sent out to the rest of the universe. Without that energy the universe will die so it is vital, and the great cataclysm could have leaked it out into the ocean and since Voya-Nui rocketed up through that ocean that is where the pool of mutagenic water near the Chamber of Life came from. It makes sense and it fits into Greg's explanation that it came as a byproduct of a vital process. Could someone please ask Greg since I can't get a BZP account?~~♪--Tomana the Geek (Talk/Contributions)♫
ToK's theory disproved that- it's not a broken conduit for the energy of some sort.

Spine Slug
Since the Piraka are mutated, has the same been done for the Spine Slugs they have and caused their current state? --KZN02, The Master of Tediousness (Talk|Contribs) 20:16, 17 July 2008 (PDT)
Greg quotes proving what I have added
ME: "You told Toa of Kenn that we would be seeing some objects that emit Pit Mutagen energy. Is the Codrex one of them?" GREG: Mutagen energy is basically radiation emitted from energy sources, and yes, the Codrex is an energy source. => explains what the energy is, namely a byproduct of energy creation emitted by energy sources, among them the Codrex.
QUESTION: Since when has the mutagen energy been around. GREG: It is a natural phenomenon that has been around all the time, but hasn't been a problem until 1000 years ago. => hasn't been a problem until after the Cataclysm.
Can't find some of the other quotes, but these were the most important.
