• Matoro was said to have a good singing voice as a Matoran?
• Greg Farshtey once used the name Teridax for one of his World of Warcraft characters?
• Greg Farshtey is the author of over 30 BIONICLE novels, seven EXO-FORCE books Knights Kingdom, and every issue of the BIONICLE comic (2001–2010) and a small number of BIONICLE guidebooks. His work has been published in English, Russian, Chinese, French, Polish, and German, among other languages. He also wrote the story for the BIONICLE DVD movie, BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn (2009). He has made numerous public appearances at San Diego Comic-Con, bookstores, and libraries.
• Greg Farshtey joined The LEGO Group in late 2000, writing for the LEGO Mania Magazine and the BIONICLE comic series. He now writes and edits six editions of the bi-monthly LEGO Club Magazine, as well as the LEGO BrickMaster Magazine and LEGO Club Jr. Magazine.

Is it possible to have a system similar to Bulbapedia? Where does their funding come from? Maybe some ads should be put in to help with funding or crash/transition phases.-King901

Money isn't an issue, I'm handling that very well. The issue was literally we missed out on saving a few pages because our previous host crashed when we last tried saving it, so we had to act quickly and do what we could to save everything. Pagehead Tabs

Looks like no one's noticed, but those tabs at the top of pages (that should say 'Tablet', 'Activate Akaku' e.t.c.) have gone back to wiki defaults, 'Page', 'Discussion' e.t.c. 'Carve' seems to be in order, but someone needs to sort out the rest, if you can. Greatly appreciated by a text OCD'er like m'self. Lihkan435 12:15, 5 June 2012 (PDT)

Formatting

If you guys aren't going to properly format your "recoveries," what's the point of doing them anyways? If you have to use a cache, it's really, really not as simple as copying and pasting. --~|RC|~ ^(Talk/_Contribs)

AfD/C

I know that right now we are doing a lot of fixing, with only a few people to help, but at the same time we could use this opportunity to possibly do a bit of reformatting after the fashion of things we have started on HS01. Take the title of this section for instance. We could combine the two Af's into the single Af Debate like we have on HS01. As we get closer to filling out the wanted pages, we may discover some pages missing, or lacking, or otherwise out that may have been there before, and I think we shouldn't recreate pages willy-nilly that aren't already Wanted or become Wanted as caches get restored. Just a thought.

On a similar note, I think we should start afresh with our Community Portal by merging the EHub with it like we did on HS01, and blanking the Member Service list. And who knows what else we could do while we have a semi-blank slate? Again, I know that right now is kinda full of "Where'd it all go?" and "Fixitfixitfixit!", but why not take the opportunity? ζω·τωμανα•

Lisen up! I think our first order of Business when we get everything in order, should be to have a Creation contest for Artahka. Any agreements?

Although I wholeheartedly agree with your statement, I don't think it should be done here or now. Most building contests are hosted on BZP, because it's convenient, plus, now is not the time. In time, we shall probably have one, but not now.

I’ve been away from Biosector01 for a time, and have thus been getting my Bionicle fill away from the copmuter. I do not know what happened to the site since my last visit, but it was a little startling, upon returning. Hope I write this in the right place.

For a week or so now, I have been meaning to see what the Pod casts were all about, and now they are gone! I really would like the Podcast to help fulfill my Bionicle fix.

WikiNav

Where exactly are we supposed to use this template and where the usual ClassicNav? I was under the impression the purpose of the new template was to be used on every page. Michele1996 ^(Talk) Generally the ClassicNav has gone at the bottom of most pages, and the WikiNav at the top of Parent Pages, as well as pages like BIONICLE and LEGO.... Help Me

Ok, I went on the wayback machine and found the page for Gadunka, so i made a copy of the page, and i tried to save it, but when a click "save" it brings me to a page that shows the editing box, and right above it it shows a box of pictures of dogs and cats (???????) and it wants me to "identify" a cat, and it wont let me save that page. I got two other pages from wayback and had no problem (Lake Pala and Nui Stone) and saved them. How do i get passed this without accidently adopting an animal? ~Toanicky

We have a filter on BS01 that prevents spambots from making pages, as robots are unable to identify cats. I'm not really sure why it didn't do that for those other pages, but go ahead and identify them, you won't have to adopt any cats.--Bionicleman 15:56, 12 May 2012 (PDT)

I made a recovery of Kikanalo but because I'm rubbish at editing, I left out LOADS. I did all the main information like history, but pretty much all of the coding is left to be done. Could someone else pick up where I left off? ~Crowzon

Restoration

Hey,

I was browsing, and came to wonder: is Bionicle stagnating? It seems that there is a slow, tepid restoration or participation on the great Biosector01.com, and I became concerned that this is a sign of a turn for the worse.

The BIONICLE story is, for all intents and purposes, dead. Greg has not graced us with any updates for a long, long time. Without new information, most people don't really feel the need to edit and to add to the wiki.

As to the slow, tepid restoration, you only have a few members doing so, and I fear that even if we got the pages back there could be a lot of mistakes (like no quotes where there should be). If everyone who is a member restored four pages today, we would be almost done, but not everyone does, and not every page can/should be restored by the normal members, and not every page has an archive. If you would like to help, the WayBack machine has archived pages. You should not only restore the text, but templates and all formatting. To figure those out, you can look at existing pages to grab the codes and then just replace the info. ζω·τωμανα•

O:RAC II

In the absence of Maintenance page (and due to the fact that the work done now is outside of its scope), maybe we should recreate O:RAC as a way to organize and possibly reinvigorate the rebuilding of the wiki. Of course, we would still have to cope with the reality of an aging fan base that doesn't have the time/will to edit as much in the past. But hopefully something like this would help the work that has been going on. --

I agree here. The Main Page is missing the appropriate contents, and the main links branching from there seem to only lead to partially completed sub-headings/areas. I am unfamiliar with the previous Operation, but this seems good to reinvigorate action. BiomechanicalIz 12:01, 3 August 2012 (PDT)
