Skrall Tribal Design Blades are bladed objects used by the Skrall and the Bone Hunters. The Bone Hunter Fero wielded one of these blades, which he found in an abandoned arena, though it was broken by Kiina. He was later able to acquire another one.
Skrall Tribal Design Blades are both wielded by the Skrall as hand-held weapons and worn for an edge in close combat. Their centers, depicting a tribal design of the Skrall's, come in a variety of colors. The hand-held Blades wielded by warrior-class Skrall have a bladed guard and Thornax Launchers attached near the hilt.
The Agori Atakus wields dual, glowing Skrall Tribal Design Blades, created with technology alien to Spherus Magna. The blades were found in a weapons cache near what the Skrall believed to be a Baterra encampment. Atakus wields the blades with great pride as no one knows how to replicate the technology.
Example Usage
In Sands of Bara Magna, a Skrall used its hand-held Blade to tear through Gresh's Jungle Shield, knocking him down and winning the match.
Set Information
Skrall Tribal Design Blades were included the Skrall set, the Atakus set, the Tuma set, and the Fero & Skirmix set of 2009. Two also appeared in the Skrall set from 2010's BIONICLE Stars series. The brightly-colored center of the blade is rubbery, while the black frame surrounding it is hard plastic. The rubbery centers of Atakus's blades glow in the dark.
