Skakdi Fusion is a fusion created by the Skakdi with the use of Energized Protodermis.
Biography
Makuta Teridax, after taking control of the Matoran Universe, learned of the destiny of certain beings, and facilitated the creation of a fusion. He placed the idea of creating the fusion into the minds of some Skakdi who were hostile toward him, leaving them under the impression that their creation would benefit the race and their goals.
An army of Skakdi assembled on Zakaz, and were provided with a tank of Energized Protodermis. Members of the Vortixx and Zyglak species, a Steltian laborer of Krekka's species, along with the five remaining Piraka, were thrown into the tank in the midst of the ritual. Zaktan, who was believed killed by Teridax, emerged from a nearby lake and also plunged into the tank.
The Energized Protodermis fused the beings into a single entity, which emerged from the tank. The entity requested to be fed by the Skakdi army, offering them a gift in return. The Skakdi willingly approached the fusion, which closed its eyes in satisfaction. It also influenced the nearby Toa Mahri, who abandoned their espionage mission to serve the creature.
After the death of Teridax, the fusion led the crowd of Skakdi and the Toa Mahri out of the Matoran Universe, utilizing its powers to cause a section of the robot to disappear and form an exit. It led the group through the newly formed jungles on Spherus Magna, eventually arriving at the shores of Aqua Magna. Upon conversing with the Skakdi, the fusion then created a large fortress on the cliffs near the ocean.
A powerful entity native to the planet, Annona, soon attacked the newly created fortress. The fusion emerged from within the building and confronted Annona. She attacked, and the fusion impaled the creature with powerful stone spikes, which damaged the energy being. Annona retaliated by feeding on all the dreams of the Skakdi army stationed within the fortress, allowing her to escape the barrier and grow more powerful. Through the fusion's power, the insane Skakdi's madness caused nightmarish visions to come to life, and the fortress started to dissolve. Sahmad, an Agori who had followed Annona, managed to impale one of the rock spikes in Annona's joint, slowing her. The fusion mentally instructed Sahmad to envision a world without dreams, and through the fusion, they ceased to exist. Without any sustenance, Annona struck a deal for the fusion's powers to send her to a land where she could feed, leaving Spherus Magna free of her. Sahmad sent the fusion a dream of a land filled with other beings like Annona, where they would eventually kill each other, and Annona disappeared to that world. The fusion thanked Sahmad, and restored the dreams of the inhabitants with Sahmad's help. They parted ways, the fusion informing Sahmad that he would hear from it again.
Abilities and Traits
The fusion is twelve feet high, is extremely muscular, and has shining golden skin. It bears a reptilian face with piercing green eyes.
The entity possesses the ability to realize the inner desires of those around it, a nearly unlimited matter manipulating ability. The fusion has no direct control over what is envisioned, and so can create a myriad of things, intentionally or accidentally. The fusion also has telepathic abilities.
