Sea of Blackness is the sea surrounding Mahri Nui. The Pit is located in the sea, and its waters are infected with the Pit Mutagen that has turned the sea's residents into the monsters they are now. It is also the home of the Barraki, as well as Nocturn and all the other Pit residents.
